The annual concert was successfully held on 4 April. An abridged version of the famous musical Hairspray Jr. was performed by singers from the HKU SPACE Community College and directed by our alumni, Michelle Li of Rooftop Productions. The story was set in the 1960s depicting an alienated young teenager who fulfilled her dream as she vied for the Miss Teen Hairspray title.
The concert this year also took a trip down memory lane, with Hong Kong pop songs in the past 60 years performed by our alumni Raii Tan, Kylis Hung, Marisa Kwok, The Chung Brothers, and the award-winning Hong Kong rock band Supper Moment to illustrate the transformation of local pop songs throughout the time.
